US headquartered global hotel company Wyndham Hotel Group (WHG) has signed master franchisee in Saudi Arabia. It has entered into a master franchisee agreement with Saudi Automotive Services Company (SASCO) to develop its highway hotel brand ‘Super 8’ in the country. WHG is looking at 20 Super 8 hotels in Saudi Arabia over the next five years. Super 8 is known for offering comfortable and affordable lodging at highway locations. It has recently introduced a new Super 8 room concept for Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA region) along with special features for guests in the Middle East and Africa that include larger family rooms that have adjacent living space. Wyndham Hotel has significant international footprints with over 7,150 hotels across the globe. Moreover, Super 8 with over 2,200 properties across the US, Canada and China, has more hotels than any other economy lodging chain in the world. While SASCO is the largest petrol station operator in Saudi Arabia that offers a range of integrated services to motorists across the country, including roadside retail and fuelling stations, catering and vehicle maintenance.
