Emirates will slightly reduce its services to Bangkok, Kuala Lumpar, Phuket, Munich and London Heathrow in the coming months.
UAE’s two leading international airlines have confirmed the brief cutback and termination of services to a number of international destinations during the summer and autumn periods.
Emirates is set to reduce its daily flight services of Dubai to Fort Lauderdale and Dubai to Orlando to five times a week from early.
A spokesperson for the Dubai carrier said, “This decision was made as part of our routine operational review to ensure that our capacity is deployed to best serve customer demand across our global network.”
“We remain committed to our US operations and will continue to serve our 12 American gateways.”

A spokesperson told ,“The reduction of frequencies to the destinations … are for a set period of time and capacity is being deployed elsewhere in the network to best serve customer demand.”
Etihad Airways confirmed that it will restrain services to Edinburgh, Scotland and Perth, Australia.
The airline remains bound to the both UK and Australian markets, with regular services to London, Manchester, Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne part of their schedules.
A spokesperson for the airline told that,”The cancellation of services to both cities are part of several adjustments that we are making to our network in 2018 in order to improve system profitability.”
