The Noodle House, a brand owned by UAE headquartered Jumeirah Restaurants has expanded into Kenya. The brand has signed a licensing agreement with Global Hotels Management Africa (GHMA) to develop its presence in the country. Under the terms of the agreement, the brand's local franchise partner GHMA will open seven noodle house restaurants in Kenya over the next five years. The first Noodle House restaurant is slated to open its doors in Nairobi in early 2013 and another is expected to come up in Mombasa. Originated in UAE in 2002, The Noodle House serves delicious South East Asian cuisine in an informal yet stylish environment and is currently operational in eight countries. The Noodle House brand was recently awarded Superbrand status in the UAE. This year, it plans to foray into Russia, Lebanon, Great Britain, and Bahrain.
