The Counter a restaurant concept from the US has entered into a development agreement with Americana Group for the Middle East. By the agreement, Americana Group will open and operate 33 new brand restaurants in the UAE, Kuwait, Qatar, Oman, Jordan, Lebanon, Egypt and Libya. The deal also covers countries namely Tunisia, Algeria and England. The first locations are expected to open by late 2012 in London, Dubai and Kuwait. Presently, the brand has 32 outlets in the home market i.e. US with two international locations in Dublin, Ireland and more units opening soon in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia and in Saar, Bahrain. Founded in 2003, The Counter is a full-service, fast-casual dining concept which offers over 300,000 possible ‘Build Your Own Burger’ combinations.
