Tasti D-Lite, the frozen dessert chain, has signed a master franchise agreement with Al-Himmah International Limited. The brand’s master franchise will expand Tasti D-Lite into countries like; Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Kuwait, Qatar, Lebanon and Jordan. The first two locations are likely to open in Saudi Arabia in March 2012. The brand is targeting to open over 30 units over the next five years. The group is expanding the brand through its newly-formed food division. The Himmah group of companies has diverse business interests in sectors such as; construction, hospitality, logistics and infrastructure projects across the Middle East. Founded in 1987, Tasti D-Lite is known for its tasty and low-calorie dessert offerings. The brand has established presence in the US and also extended its presence through master franchise relationships in Central America and Australia and now the UAE.
