Spinneys, a leading supermarket retailer has opened its new store on The Pearl-Qatar. The new store is located at La Croisette 14 of Porto Arabia and will cater to residents and visitors with the convenience of a market on the Island along with complete range of quality products including an exclusive door-to-door delivery service. The company will soon start a full service ‘flagship’ supermarket with its branch slated to open during 2012 at Medina Centrale covering a space of 4,000m sq. The Pearl-Qatar is the flagship project of the United Development Company (UDC), one of Qatar’s leading private shareholding companies. While Spinneys was founded in 1924 in Alexandria, Egypt and today has established presence as a leading supermarket brand in the Middle East and North Africa.
