US based restaurant brand Smashburger has recently announced its expansion into the Middle East via franchising. The company has plans to open its outlets in Kuwait, Bahrain and Saudi Arabia. The brand has partnered with Bahrain based Georgetown Advisors for opening six outlets in Kuwait and three in Bahrain. For Saudi Arabia, Smashburger has tied up with the Al Musbah Group to launch eight airport locations across the country. The partners expect to open first franchised outlets in their respective territories in 2012. The brand will introduce Smashburger's signature burgers and wide range of menu offerings to the Middle Eastern consumers.
