Payless ShoeSource, a fashion footwear brand is all set to launch its franchised stores in Egypt, Morocco, Malaysia, Singapore, Jordan and Mexico by the end this year. The company is aiming for approximately 700 franchised stores in existing and new countries by 2014.
Payless has recently opened of its 100th international franchised location in Indonesia which is country’s seventh store towards its rapid global franchise expansion programme. Till now in 2011, the company has forayed into Peru, Turkey, Israel, Indonesia and Lebanon via franchise model and has launched franchised locations in Bahrain, Philippines and Russia through 2010. Currently, the brand has presence in 11 countries across the globe.
Payless ShoeSource, Inc., a unit of Collective Brands, Inc., began franchising in 2009 with its debut in Kuwait and the number grew to eight operational stores in Kuwait, Saudi Arabia and UAE in the Middle East by the end of 2009.
