USA’s Pizza concept Papa Murphy's International has forayed into Gulf via franchise route. It has signed a master franchise agreement with MAM Foodco LLC to open 100 Papa Murphy's Take 'N' Bake Pizza outlets across Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC). The first location is slated to open in Dubai, UAE before the end of 2012. The entry into the Gulf region also marks brand’s first ever expansion outside of North America. Papa Murphy's is the fifth largest pizza chain in the United Sates where it currently operates 1,287 units along with 15 locations in Canada. It is widely acknowledged by its consumers in home market for excellence in value, quality, variety, service and convenience.
