UK’s fashion retailer M&Co plans to launch its stores in the GCC.
UK’s fashion retailer M&Co plans to launch its stores in the GCC. The Scottish retailer has signed an agreement with Liwa Trading Enterprises (LTE), Abu Dhabi based company. According to the terms of the deal LTE will be the operator of M&CO brand in the Gulf countries. The brand plans to open four stores in Emirates in the next nine months. The first M&Co store is slated to open in Dubai Mall in May with second store opening scheduled in June in Dubai Marina Mall. Further, it will launch two more stores in Abu Dhabi in late 2012. Besides, M&Co expects to have another 24 outlets across the Gulf region in the near future. Liwa Trading Enterprises is the retail division of Al Nasser Holdings (UAE). Its franchise portfolio includes clothing brands like; BHS, Tammy, Calvin Klein and LaSenza.
