McDonald’s, a global fast food chain is all set to increase its presence in UAE by opening 10 new outlets by the first half of 2012.
McDonald’s, a global fast food chain is all set to increase its presence in UAE by opening 10 new outlets by the first half of 2012. Emirates Fast Food Company (EFFC) is the UAE licensee of McDonald’s Corporation. At present EFFC operates 90 outlets in Malls, Commercial centres and in residential areas like Jebel Ali, Emirates Hills, The Springs and Green Community in Dubai. McDonald’s which is famous for its Happy Meals is still successfully running its breakfast business launched in December 2009 in 40 out of 90 operational restaurants. The breakfast menu ranges from pancakes to Egg McMuffin, and the company is now considering introducing this in more outlets. McDonald’s runs 80 per cent of franchised outlets out of its 33,000 restaurants in 118 countries.
