South Africa-based Mantis Hospitality is bringing three new luxury eco-hotels will open this year as part of the “Sharjah Collection”.

One of the properties, the Kingfisher Lodge in Khor Kalba, is now in its soft launch, and includes 25 luxury tens in a desert wetland area of Sharjah which is home to mangroves, tidal creeks and beaches.
The property has a wellness spa situated in a dedicated tent and it is designed to have a “safari” feel for its guests.
The other two properties will launch this year. One of them, Al Badayer Oasis Lodge, will have 19 rooms and 10 tents and number of restaurants and an open-air theatre.
Fossil Rock is the second property and it is a converted lodge which was originally built in the 1960s, and it holds up to 10 guests at a location in Mleiha.
The facility also includes a private pool and spa which features a “Himalayan sea salt room”.
