American quick-serve chain Burger King has launched its 65th location in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA). The new restaurant opened in the capital city Riyadh is the brand’s largest outlet in the country. The customers can have their meal choices tailor-made according to their individual tastes and preferences, along with Burger King’s signature fire-grilled burgers. Hana International Company Ltd, owned by Riyadh-based Olyan Group is the brand’s master developer for Middle East and North Africa (MENA). The group introduced the first Burger King outlet 20 years ago in the Middle East, in Riyadh. Presently, there are over 270 restaurants in MENA region, with Olayan directly operating over 170 restaurants across five markets, including 65 restaurants in Saudi Arabia and 60 in the UAE. Besides, Olyan is focusing on Northern Africa also where it has 22 brand restaurants in Egypt alone.
Burger King, founded in 1954, is the second largest fast food hamburger chain in the world and it is one of the fastest growing fast food chains in MENA.
