Dubai headquartered Jumeirah Restaurants is expanding its Italian restaurant concept Urbano in Middle East. The company has entered into two franchise agreements to open brand’s restaurants in Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, and Turkey. Jumeirah Restaurants has inked a licensing deal with a Bahrain-based food and beverage firm that will open Urbano restaurants in Kuwait, Oman and Bahrain. The deal will see the first restaurant to come up in Bahrain in Seef District in late 2012. As per second agreement between Jumeirah Restaurants and BCF Group, the Urbano restaurant is expected to open its doors in October 2012, at Aqua Florya Mall in Turkey. Urbano, an authentic Italian restaurant is both modern in style and traditional in feel. It is segmented into a café, ‘trattoria’ and pizzeria, with gourmet take away available. Jumeirah Restaurants is a part of UAE’s hotel chain Jumeirah Group. It has current presence in 13 countries across the globe.
