Jashanmal Group (JG), a veteran retailer from the Middle East is set for huge expansion. The company has a network of more than 100 retail stores including department stores, bookshops and fashion and footwear brands across the region. It is planning to bring in six brands by early next year. It will launch LK Bennett, a woman's clothing and footwear brand based out of UK, in Dubai's Mirdif City Centre next month. The Jashanmal will be re-launching Bally, the Swiss shoe brand in the UAE with a new store, also to be located in Mirdif City Centre. The deals for four other US retail brands to open stores across the UAE early next year are also in pipeline. All the new brands belong from mid to higher-end segment of the fashion market.
Recently, JG moved its department store in Wafi Mall to Dubai Festival City and also acquired eight bookstore outlets in Spinneys' stores from Magrudy's.
