Electronics retailer Emax, a part of Landmark Group, plans to open 15 new stores across the UAE and GCC region by 2013. The company will invest Dh100 million to open stores in Emirates, Oman, Qatar and Saudi Arabia to take its current count of 35 stores to 50. The company is now turning its focus towards accessories segment and is introducing three accessory lines including White Diamond fashionable covers for iPads and smartphones, Cellular Line mobile phone covers, and Wrappo for IT accessories. Over, the next three years, it aims to grow its accessories business from current five per cent of business to 15 per cent. Moreover, Emax is also planning to open an online store by the end of the year besides working on a programme to bring electronic accessories to fashion stores in the near future.
