Atkins is working on the updated design based on the feedback given by Azizi Developments. The project is scheduled to be completed by 2022.
Azizi Developments said that the work for Dubai’s second tallest skyscraper will begin in the third quarter of this year.
The building will be 570-metre tall and will have 122-storey residential and commercial tower on Sheikh Zayed Road. The development cost of AED is 3 billion. The building would have house residential apartments on the first 100 floors and a luxury hotel on the remaining 22.
Atkin, an engineering, design and project management company is helping Azizi Developers to design the Skyscraper. Atkin has also helped in designing the Dubai Metro and the Burj Al Arab.

Azizi Developments is currently working on more than 200 other projects, including its Azizi Riviera and Azizi Victoria, a mega-community project in Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum City – District 7.
