The Hard Rock Café has opened its outlet in Festival Centre in Dubai Festival City (DFC).
The Hard Rock Café has opened its outlet Festival Centre in Dubai Festival City (DFC). The brand’s new 26,400 sq. ft location is the largest outlet in the chain’s Middle East and Asian portfolios. The Café Dubai will also have 2,500 sq. ft Rock Shop featuring Hard Rock’s limited-edition merchandise. The original opening date for this location was slated for October 2010. However, the new opening has come more than a year later than planned.
The first Hard Rock Café in Dubai opened in 1998 on Sheikh Zayed Road which later closed down. The new Dubai cafe is owned and operated by Hard Rock Middle East, Hard Rock's franchisee in the region. The brand’s franchisee also operates Hard Rock locations in Beirut, Bahrain, Cairo, Hurghada, Kuwait and Sharm El Sheikh.
