The Cheesecake Factory a USA-based casual dining restaurant brand has opened its first restaurant in UAE, in Dubai. It is the brand’s first ever foreign location outside of domestic market, in partnership with its exclusive licensee Alshaya Trading Co. The new restaurant covering an area of 13,851 square feet is located at The Dubai Mall. The new restaurant offers menu items that will be made in-house, and would be prepared from only the freshest of ingredients. The wide ranging menu will comprise brand’s award-winning desserts, including over 30 types of cheesecakes and other baked desserts prepared by its bakery production facilities in the US. Besides, The Cheesecake Factory has granted Alshaya rights to develop the brand’s restaurants throughout the UAE, Kuwait, Bahrain, Qatar and Saudi Arabia. The agreement also provides Alshaya the opportunity to expand the brand into several other markets in the MENA, Russia, Turkey and Europe.
