California Pizza Kitchen (CPK), an international pizza chain is set to ramp up its presence in the Middle East. The brand has revised its original agreement with Gourmet Gulf Company (GGC), the Middle East Master Franchise Owner. Now the company will launch 19 restaurants across the region. Under the terms of the original Master Franchise agreement, GGC was to open a minimum of three locations over a two year period. The new restaurants are expected to be opened in United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Oman, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Bahrain and Jordon. USA based California Pizza Kitchen was launched in Beverly Hills in 1985. Currently, it has presence in more than 250 locations across 11 countries.
