Azadea Group is planning to expand its retail presence in the UAE by opening new stores. The group has signed a tenancy agreement with Baniyas Investment and Development Company (BIDC). It is looking to open eight new outlets at the Bawabat Al Sharq Mall in Abu Dhabi. Covering an area of more than1,604 sq. m, Azadea Group will launch several known international fashion brands and food and beverage outlets at Bawabat Al Sharq Mall. The new stores will belong to brands such as Oysho, Intimissimi, Piazza Italia, Gymboree, Mango and Sunglass Hut. BIDC is an investment arm of the Baniyas Sports Club which was established in 2005. It is developing Bawabat Al Sharq, one of the pioneering master community projects in Abu Dhabi. Bawabat Al Sharq Mall, a part of the project spreads across two floors, covering 70,000 sq. m of gross leasable area. Furthermore, Azadea also plans to bring in other retail concepts in Emirates. It is looking to open the first stores in the UAE, for ‘Jules’, a French fashion brand, and it will open first branch of Paul's bakery in Abu Dhabi. Lebanon-based Azadea Group is a leading retailer in the Middle East.
