North American children specialty brand, The Children's Place is expanding into the Gulf region. The brand has inked a 10 year franchise agreement with Dubai’s Apparel Group to launch the brand’s stores in the region. Under the deal terms, Apparel Group will open the brand’s stores in Gulf such as the UAE, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain, and Oman. The first The Children's Place retail stores are scheduled to open their doors in Dubai and Sharjah by September, 2012. The brand plans to open several stores in the emirates, this year. The Children's Place Retail Stores, Inc., designs, contracts to manufacture and retails trendy, quality and affordable merchandise, mainly under the ownership of ‘The Children's Place’ brand name.
